LHCN in conjunction with @dutchiecroydon restaurant hosted their inaugural event for Croydon Caribbean Businesses. The theme of the evening was to ‘kick start’ Jamaica55 UK celebrations & to share Jamaica’s Vision 2030 Goals.
Our key note speaker for the night was Mr Rudi Page ( management consultant from Making Connections Work), Rudi engaged our guests with the Economic Growth Council Diaspora Taskforce strategy and ways that Jamaica UK citizens in Croydon can be apart of theses initiatives. Rudi also read out an apology from His Excellency Seth George Ramocan ( High Commissioner) who invited our guests to continue with their amazing work that is being undertaken in Croydon through many sectors and acknowledged Jamaican UK citizens in Croydon community spirit. He has asked LHCN to provide an update following their event.
